Hi John
Lots of organising went into this weekend and i know you had a huge part to play! Saturday was awesome. I asked where I should pay for the boerewors roll and they told me I can HAVE one. Yay I love CKN.
i am so grateful to stay in an area where somebody cares. Thank you so much , once again for all you do for CKN.
Bless you
Des

Hi John
The Birthday Edition newsletter received today looks very good. I just wanted to say that the service we have been receiving from Dunmar Security has been great.
Thanx

PAPER PICK UP
The Ronnie Bag.......... This letter is not to be seen as an advert for those that profit from the recycling business.
I don't think that one needs to expound the virtues of recycling as a means of saving natural resources and the energy saved in the initial manufacturing process.
The recycling bug has yet to hit us here in South Africa as it has in say, Western Europe, where it has become an instinctive reaction. All household refuse is sorted into 3 or 4 types and bagged for collection by the local authority etc.
The Ronnie bag is a starting point for this habit to gain momentum in our society. The number of bags (or rather the lack of) placed for collection in our suburb indicates that we have a long way to go. Please help us to stop this waste of resources and energy by participating in this project.
Collections are done every two weeks on a Tuesday and every house was given a bag at the start of this project. If you are bagless then I am sure that if you leave your collection in a box or other receptacle, a bag will be left by the collection agency. Lets get into the recycling habit!
Put your bag out on the pavement before 8am. They also take glass as long as it’s packed securely, preferably in a box.
